We are a full service animal clinic. We not only treat dogs and cats but also exotic animals such as rabbits, birds, and reptiles. We have ultrasound technology along with advanced surgical procedures.

Staff Members

Dr. Martin Ramm

Veterinarian, DVM

Dr. Ramm is an Omaha native and a 1981 graduate of Benson High School. Dr. Ramm graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1985 and received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 1990.

After eight years of small animal practice at Mobile Animal Clinic in Omaha, Dr. Ramm established Rockbrook Animal Clinic, P.C. in June 1998. His areas of special interest include veterinary endoscopy and dentistry.

Dr Ramm has 2 dogs at home and if it weren't for his 3 sons and their allergies, he'd probably have cats too!

Dr. Susan Kyle

Veterinarian, DVM

Dr. Kyle is a native Nebraskan. She attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and received a bachelors degree in biology in 1985. She received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 1990. Dr. Kyle practiced in the Chicago area for six years before returning to Omaha to be with her family.

Dr. Kyle works part-time for the clinic and her special interest is internal medicine. She has experience with behavioral problems and reproduction.

Dr Kyle and her husband have 4 children at home along with a cat and dog Katie Anna.

Dr. Tippi Denenberg

Veterinarian, DVM

Dr. Denenberg is an Omaha native. She graduated from Westside High School and received her B. S. degree from Vassar College. She graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she had special training in animal opthamology.

Dr. Denenberg is interested in all aspects of companion animal medicine and surgery.

Tippi and her husband have 2 children and one on the way. They have one dog at home too!

Dr. Suzanne Ostle

Veterinarian, DVM

Dr. Ostle graduated from Iowa State with her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She also knows how to do Ultra Sounds. She enjoys spending time with her family, helping local rescues, and conducting low cost vaccination clinics!

Dr. Sarah Roelofs

Veterinarian, DVM

Dr. Roelofs graduated from University of Minnesota. She moved from Chicago to Omaha and has been at the clinic for over 2 years. She enjoys spending time with her 2 dogs, her family and traveling

Christina Burton

Veterinary Technician

Chris graduated from Vatterott with her degree in Veterinary Technology. Chris can be seen around the office helping animals and assisting clients. Chris spends her free time with her husband, her daughter and son, and her dog Trina!

Cindy Thompson

Office Manager

Cindy started here in January of 2005 and is a former employee of the Nebraska Humane Society. She and her husband spend some of their free time with their son John and the 2 dogs and 4 cats at home.

Julie Jones

Receptionist

Julie joined the clinic in April of 2006 after being a client for the past 8 years. She previously worked at the Nebraska Humane Society. She is an animal lover and has 3 dogs and 11 cats at home. She does foster care for kitties as well. One day, she hopes to go to vet tech school!

JC Markmann

Veterinary Technician

JC graduate from Veterinary Technology program at Vatterott College in Omaha. He has two labs at home named Bevo and Scooby. J.C. enjoys spending time with his dogs and watching old movies!

Lisa Chmura

Receptionist

Lisa Chmura has been with the clinic for almost a year! She loves animals! She has 2 dogs at home Boomer and T-bone! She enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and playing with her dogs!

Matt Vipond

Veterinary Assistant

Matt is an Omaha native. He graduated from Skutt Catholic High School in 2005. He currently attends Creighton University and plans on becoming a Veterinarian. Matt has been working here part time since 2006 and truly enjoys working with all the animals.

Veterinary Technician

Jessie is a 1999 graduate of Omaha College of Health Careers. SHe is a full time veterinary technician and she can be see performing many tasks around the clinic such as anesthesia, lab work, triage and treatments. Jessie enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children Mallory and Zach.

Melissa Fairfax

Veterinary Technician

Melissa started with Rockbrook Animal Clinic in 2002, originally from Lincoln. She graduated from Vatterott College with her degree in Veterinary Technology. She has completed her bachelors degree from UNL in veterinary technologist and business. You can find Melissa welcoming in patients, assisting in surgery, working in the lab, or taking pet histories in the exam rooms. Melissa enjoys her time at home being spent with her husband and daughter Reagan, plus their 3 cats and dog Berlin.

Irene Patton

Veterinary Assistant

Irene is a Omaha native. She graduated from Skutt Catholic High School in 2003. Irene currently attends University of Nebraska at Omaha. She enjoys doing foster care for Bottle Babies Rescue in Omaha and works part time for the clinic. Irene plans to become a veterinarian. Irene is wonderful with animals and will be great vet someday! (Just ask her about Hope!)
